Western Digital 250GB 2.5 inch Notebook Hard Drive Preview

Western Digital today announced it is now shipping its 250 GB WD Scorpio 2.5-inch Serial ATA (SATA) hard drives. The 250 GB Scorpio hard drive uses perpendicular magnetic recording (PMR) technology to achieve the highest capacity available in a shipping small form factor drive. I would like to point out Alienware and Dell already have a 250gb that 5400 rpm. If you look at this url http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthr ... 505&page=2

04-25-2007, 05:36 AM Also me AtolSammeek. With a Samsung 250gb 5400 rpm sata 8mb cache. Supplied by Alienware and Dell. Mostly higher end Laptops. I was able to get it for the M 5550
