Hello!

Yesterday I got the announcement about the new forum structure which
  • a) was not a big surprise :)
  • b) arrived in 2 copies, I don't really know why, though
And, BTW, there should be a "Site discussion" forum too for these kinds of posts :)

Sad news, yes, but I'd say this was kind of doomed by default...Catching it in mid-air sounds like a pretty stupid idea...But at least they did not fail doing that

I'm not sure where exactly can you choose this option, but try and boot from the CD and look for Repair. It simply copies back the original system files. It does not change us...

My first one was around 1986, a Commodore 64, from the second edition. It lasted pretty long, and I remember one of my PC-XT owning friends dropping in to play on my C64...He stared a bit on the all-blue loading screen (cassette loading of course), and asked, holding the joystick: "Okay, what d...

ATI CCC is out! (The new Control Panel)

Check out at http://www.ati.com/products/catalystcon ... index.html.

This baby needs the .NET Framework 1.1, a link at the above location. DNA drivers forum posts say it likes to eat tons of memory... Maybe I'll just wait till the ATI guys do some optimizing...

I know this is a pretty late answer, but some Epox boards (like mine, but I think most have it) have numerical LEDs on them (like digital watches have) which show error codes on startup. And the manual has the decoding sheet for these codes. Better luck next time though :) (Just on a sidenote, those...

This "multiplier" was installed in the closest "switch" or whatever it's called. (I live in a block of flats, and this was in the block's phone switching room). I dunno if that helps, but might give some ideas.

I have already done virtually everything to get rid of this choppyness...There does not seem to be a way out, sadly. Having 2 FPS sucks  Quite a bit offtopic in the 4.7 topic, but 4.8 betas helped to resolve this problem for me. But I'm almost crying seeing my card's performance in Far Cry :(...
