1t and 2t are different timings for your ram clocks. 1t is usually much faster and tighter timing, while 2t is the opposite. However in gaming, you won't see much of a difference at high resolutions or so I"ve been told. but running at medium, or so you will just things I've been told. someone ...

2x1gb!!!! because if running 4x512mb of dual channel on an nf4 board at least mine and some others I've read about, not only will you have to run in 2t like me, but you will probably have to downclock your ram to 333 from 400 or even where mines at I think aroudn 333 but a little below cpu z says 16...

I have an x800 gto flashed to an x800xt clocked at 573/540(1080) almost 850xtpe ram and past that on the core. but mine idles at 34 degrees celcius and around 40-mid 50's max under full load on games. so yeah that sounds really hot...

Question about x800 series and pixil shader 3.0

So why is it that a chipset supports 3.0 or doesn't, and what in the actually gpu dictates that? I ask this because Ihave my c3d x800gto thinking its a x800xt at 573mhz/1080mhz and its 16 pipes. However a F****ng 6600gt 128mb will beat me on 3dmark06 because of its nice love and ability to do 3.0. I...

I figured, but can we rma to get money back?

I told him sis is bad chipset, and that nf4 is best for gf7800, but I do hate nvidia's almost monopoly. However, good they make the best chipset. I told him to get a new mobo, but I wanted to makesure thats the problem. I didnt' make that mistake though I bought the worst nf4 out there I think in th...

ONly problem I see with teh 6800 is the price being 166ish and the x1600 is faster stock with same pipes , and more compatable with newest stuff, open glide 2.0 and I think pixil shader 3.0, which I'm no sure if hte 6800 does. plus its only 110-140 dollars depending on brand/ram speed.

Thanks

It does support the northwoods it supports basically every known processor for that socket, so we're good in that department and it even has a decent cache size I learned from there. so now the only question is the video card. but I could post that in a new forum I guess.

Hadn't thought about the bottleneck problem, but I guess I should find the processor cash size I was thinking hte 9600xt cuz its half the price anyway, and I don't know how much he is willing to spend but we're going to make it a 2.49ghz northwood, 1gb of probably ddr 333mhz ram, a 9600xt, on that m...
