I think it was Robin Williams who said it best and I'm paraphrasing somewhat.

"I think all of the leaders of the world should be women. There would be no more war. Just severe negotiations once every 28 days."

An occasional drink won't hurt the baby but I guess that depends on what you call occasional. If you drink enough to feel tipsy then, yeah, you better stop. If your idea of occasional is a couple of martinis with dinner then that needs to go too. But like a beer or a glass of wine a week won't hurt ...

Yeah. There's no real reason to get an assault weapon except for the fact that it's "cool". While it may be true that the ban was ineffective, it was at least a step in the right direction. To just let it expire was irresponsible. Rather than letting it expire because of it's effectiveness...

Company: Red Bull Purpose: It gives you wings! J/K Company: DFI Purpose: They're expanding the assembly area. Someone cut a hole for ventilation otherwise the plastic wouldn't stay. It would get ripped away from the staples holding it to the wall. The drawing grew around the ventilation hole. It kin...

The main reason to go for the 939 over the 754 is expandibility. 754 will not be in AMD's future. So if you don't mind scrapping your mobo in two to three years along with your CPU then the 754 will work but if you think you would like to upgrade in a year then you need to go with a socket 939 CPU. ...

Yep. Never should have happened capper. Training standards are there to keep people alive. Without them, people die. The problem with the question of who's standards is that it's not a who but a what. The military shouldn't have to do what society asks in regards to it's training. Society should kno...

All good points capper but the problem is, your points won't change until society has become used to the idea of women in combat and that won't change until more women are in combat. It's a catch 22. I agree 100% though on the physical aspect. The tests were made as tough as they were for a reason. ...

I have a line on an unregistered copy of XP home that I'm going to follow. Stay tuned. By the way, I have a new HD that I can install for now and load up XP. Should I just disconnect my current HD with ME on it until after I get XP loaded onto the new HD and then slave the old drive to it? Or should...

So you're saying I have to serve in order to understand how the military works? BS. I'll go along with you have to serve to understand how a soldier feels, that's a given. There is a certain almount of empathy that can be shared but there is no substitute for a person's experience. But if you're try...

But that's just it capper. I do have some insight as to how things are. My point is that you can't arbitrarily (sp) just dismiss someone because they didn't serve. Experience and understanding are two different things. Just because I don't experience something doesn't mean I can't understand it. Tha...

Capper, you must have me confused with someone else. For instance, where did I ever say that the sites I linked were non-partisan? I know exactly which side they lean to. You asked for more than a Boston Globe bio and I gave it to you. Simple. You call me naive and then turn a blind eye to all that ...
