if you missed what i wrote in previous thread, i'll type it back:
the vcore reading is from both cpu-z & realtemp & aisuite II software.
the watt usage is from aisuite II software.

i know about the power saving state, thats why i mention i already enabled EIST & C1E, and speed is downclocked to 1.6GHz when idling. my question is, why even processor downclocked to 1.6GHz, the vcore is still high, between 1.1v - 1.2v? is it suppose to drop down to 0.8v like previous i7 model...

hello guys. is that normal, this processor using 1.1++v of vcore when EIST & C1E plus the EPU engine running at auto? this things suppose to give "power saving" right? but what i saw, the vcore never goes down below 1v even when idling and speedstep goes down to 1.6G so whats happening...
