Hello guys, I'm trying to remove Norton internet security but I can't. I already tried to uninstall but it's still there. Please I really want to get rid of so I can install a different security tool without issues. I never have seen a software so stubborn like Norton. Any help will be appreciated.

I personally don't know how to fix a corrupted hal.dll file in particular...I mean, there's so many dlls, and it's kind of lame to think of a fix for each...but yeah, this step by step tutorial is really great. :) But what about the other dlls. What if we can't find a guide to deal with like Officea...
