Yeah, I have heard similar complaints from other people, but I really haven't ever gotten any of the specifics. I know there was a "war" between him and another couple of sites last year about something.... And I was reading an article he wrote for some reason and he said that he "eve...

iTunes price hike

This might be a little more on-topic than it's supposed to be for this forum, BUT..... Anybody else see that the major record labels have colluded to force Apple to raise some of iTunes prices? Singles up to $1.25 and albums up to $16.99. $16.99. Do they not realize this is what got them in this sit...

Yeah, I know. If they're talking about shipping Dual Core Pentium-Ms for the Desktop in a year or so, then that will be some fairly stiff competition. :) AMD is supposed to be rolling out Dual-Core Opterons sometime in the relatively near future, though, aren't they? Seems like I read that somewhere...

Newer version of Outlook has the same search and grouping functionality that GMail is going to offer, but Hotmail (my current email provider) sure as hell doesn't. There is just a huge value-add involved in GMa...

I think the most interesting thing in that story is what they say about Samsung' HAMR technology for combination laser/magnetic storage at a much higher data density. How is that different from the currently available magneto-optical storage? Toms Hardware has done a couple of articles about this in...

I, for one, don't understand the degree of controversy that's been surrounding GMail. The amount of space is obviously a godsend, though I haven't seen mention anywhere of how large an attachment can be sent at one time... As for the privacy issue, I am as privacy-concerned as anybody, but I don't u...

I have been reading about this for the last day or two, and I'm curious how AMD is going to deal with this news. What this looks like to me is a great short-term opportunity and a lot of long-term danger.
