What I saw now is that adaptec introduced their new controller-serie, also compatible with 6GBs SATA: http://www.adaptec.com/de-de/products/controllers/hardware/sas/value/sas-6805/ Which of the two (Adaptec 6805 / LSI 9260-8i) would you recommend for a linux, raid 5 setup, regarding speed ...
