Re: SuperMicro H8DC8 - memory

The reason that you aren't seeing all of the available ram is that 32bit OS's can only see a maximum of 4GB. From this four gig, things like video memory is also included. That is why you can see more RAM with the 256MB video card. Like SAMSAMHA said, if you really want to use all 4GB then you will...

Re: Minimum Assassin's Creed Specs Surpass Crysis

As long as VISTA is not a NUST the using 3GB system on Windows XP 32Bit is almost useless the system is managing t such amount of memory very good and also need some added Boot.ini switches to work better with such amount of memory. when regarding VISTA i think most of the computer runing VISTA boug...

Re: Mobo w/ 1600/1333/1066/800 FSB support

I didnt find any official support for all the range but the 780i is looking promising : It support 1333Mhz but usually going to 1600Mhz is not a problem http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/2007/12/17/first_look_nvidia_nforce_780i_sli/1 What is slightly worrying is that on the XFX box there's only a men...

Re: AMD Triple Core - Marketing Hype or Mainstream Killer?

Waste of time for most in here. This is AMD's attempt to recover some some of the crummy yields they evidently get from what is clearly a quad core design. Users here are most likely to already be using some brand of dual core or top end single core and adding some tweener multicore implementation ...

If not, Atola Technology has a free tool for fixing the drive (but like a format you m...
