Run msconfig from the Start---Run menu ONLY IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. You can disable some programs that like to start up with your PC.

I think running a processor or videocard at speeds lower than the standard speed won't work. Don't ask me why but I don't think you will be successful with this.

I have to vouch for Getdataback. That program is excellent. You can get back almost everything. If your life was on that drive, then the price you pay for the software will most definitely be a very small one.

Ha! I'm the only person to use Intel and nVidia. I look at it this way. If both can get their drivers together and AMD can get a 6xnm processor it may be good, but they'll still be behind intel.

AMD is only threatened because Intel is getting back into the graphics market.

How much do you hate Circut City...

So in my previous thread about the Viewsonic widescreen monitors I've been attempting to purchase which are availible only at Circut City as far as Retail Outlets go in the St. Louis Metropolitan area, I've come to a snag on buying one. The reason being is that because no matter what, I'll be in the...

That is a really neat idea, though one hitch with what you are doing it with... The monitors you are buying are native 1440x900 LCD's. But the maximum resolution the triple box thing supports per monitor is 1280 x 1024. So you'd be running everything at less than native resolution, which is fine on...

yup. I have Nv experience, with a bit of ATi experience too. 7300 has newer tech, shader 3.0 etc. the 6600GT is a better gaming card. 1. Already answered. 2. Already answered. 3. I would not touch the low end nVidia cards with a 10 foot poll in a radioactive suite. Just remember, if you sped $50 on...

The problem is with TV it is SOOOO BORING to watch gaming on it. Have you seen an episode of Arena? I can't stand watching that show, and I can only watch it half way through on Mute.
