Thanks for the explication :) Now I know mine is really a 478-pin even toght the cpu-z identifies has 479 ball. I just dont know if there are 479-pin cpu's because the socket in CT479 adaptor does seem a lot like the ones of my cpu, so I guess is PGA. Maybe someone could confirm me if I would be abl...

Pentium M 1.4 478-pin with a CT-479 Asus
Anybody knows if a Pentium M 1.4 (banias) 478-pin will actually work with a CT-479 Adaptor from Asus, it only mentions that works with Pentium M with 479-ball socket. I dont even know the difference between both, mine is a socket 478 but cpu-z identifies it has 479-ball. This is the actual cpu :) ht...
