It´s strange seeing 2 cards performing better than 4. The new cards from ATI are very powerful but also expensive, I think it´s better to wait for dx10 cards which will be introduced before the end of the year

I don´t know why they make such low quality laptops. At least, there weren´t any injured people.

Anyway, if you experience the same problem again, you could us TuneUp Utilities 2006, a set of utilities which can help you in "cleaning" your pc. I had a lot of speed problems in windows and while booting and after using that program, it works very well

Yes, it can work in it as the only thing you need to run that memory is having the DDR memory slot and you can plug in any DDR memory module of any speed. However DDR2 memory can´t be plugged in a DDR slot. So you shouldn´t have any problems. The thing is that it will work at pc3200 speed but you al...

Try running the system with only one memory module, if it crashes, try with the other one, and try all the mem slots of the mobo, maybe you have a broken one

So the best thing is to wait for DX10 cards? I think that yes it is. Why buy a DX9 high end card now (which won´t use new games dx10 features) when you can buy an high end DX10 card in 6 months which will last you more years of gaming? Also, it´s said that the graphics performance difference will b...

I won´t upgrade to windows vista until I need it, that is to say when I buy a dx10 graphics card as it won´t run dx10 in windows xp.
Also, at first the OS´s are very unsecure and buggy like windows xp when it firt appeared

i am pondering buying 2x6800GT's (Gigabyte's Heatpipe cooled ones) and replacing my X850XT If you have to buy both of them, I wouldn´t buy them, you can buy two 7600GT at the same price or only a 7900GT which would be the best option as you will get the same performance with one card ( with less he...

You will get more performance with the 2x6800GT, furthermore, you will have SM3. If you are sure you will get it running with the hacked drivers and it won´t give you problems in the future, go for it. But first of all, Are you going to buy a 6800GT, 2x6800GT or you have the three cards now?

I really wouldn´t recommend to upgrade from a 7800gt, I think you should wait for the next gen dx10 capable cards, the fps difference you will notice from the upgrade right now would be small

I think that if you have right now a socket 939 or 754, I wouldn´t upgrade to AM2 because the performance difference is not big. However, if you are in a older gen cpus (socket A) an upgrade to AM2 is good although I prefer upgrading to a pentium D processor.

Why all people is buying a 2500?, a 3200 will overclock better or it won´t? No. There are two things going on. One we are talking about the 2500+ Mobile which runs at a much lower voltage and tops out at 3ghz. Most people can get 2.7 on air and some good chips as high as 2.8 on air. to go higher pe...
