I have had one of those 430 watt psu's and was not very impressed. I would deff get at least a 500w (and a good one). I have a OCZ 600w and have been very pleased. That is what is in the computer in my sig.... :)

I'm no expert, but I have been looking at in stalling this on my system. From all I have read, ati drivers just seem to have multiple difficulties in playing will with 3d stuff like beryl. You might look in to a script call envy in helping install the ati drivers. As I understand it there many good ...

No problem here, but I was really careful. Yes it was worth it to me b/c I was getting over 52c full load even with water cooling.... Max temp now is 47c

Post here If Vista helped you move to Linux

I'm using Ubutnu 6.06 and 6.1 on 2 different hds. I'm doing everything on this box including Gaming. City of Heroes works well with Cedega, and I actually get a little more fps with Linux.

So! if anyone else has been put on the Linux path by overbearing DRM and system requirements post here!!

Nice I got a similar temp reduction when I took the lid off of my x3 3800. I aslo found that Shin-EtsuMicrosi gave me a 1C reduction over AS5 with a TDX DD water block.

What are you system specs?

I have had a 3200+ newcastle to 2.5ghz with water and have a 3100 pairs at 2.25 24/7 in a media tower. Socket 754 is still a good sold performer!
