Re: Deus Ex: Mankind Divided DX11 Video Card Benchmarks
I've been playing this all week with whatever setting the GeForce Experience defaulted to and have had a pretty solid 60FPS at 2560x1440 on my eVGA GTX 1080 FTW at it's factory clock settings. I was wondering why DirectX 12 was disabled in the options, thanks for the heads up. Do you expect to see a...

Re: Watercooled 1080GTX
I did see that MSI has a version of the GTX 1080 called the Seahawk EK X that comes with an EK waterblock on it from the factory. That's looking promising although I've never personally owned a MSI video card.

Watercooled 1080GTX
So, I'm wanting to upgrade my GPU with Deus Ex coming out soon and Doom looking so great. I know I want a GTX 1080 but I'm not sure which card to get. Right now I'm using an ASUS Poseidon GTX 780 hybrid cooled GPU. I'd like to keep my GPU water cooled and neither ASUS nor EVGA seems ready to release...

Re: anyone else underwhelmed by the new Radeon 480?
honestly gotta say... sometimes it seems like the read team isnt even trying. I know they went for midrange market and all of that... but to not have a single gpu flagship? what the.. :-k This is a leadership problem at AMD. Back in the early 2000's AMD was largely run by engineers who wanted to pu...

Re: HyperX Cloud Revolver Gaming Headset Review
Thank you for posting what all you tested the headphones with! I really do need to give the Xonar cards another chance on my next build as I know many people over at Head Fi really seem to like them. Maybe my basis of comparison is off as I'm coming more from an enthusiast headphone view than from a...

Re: HyperX Cloud Revolver Gaming Headset Review
Having just purchased this headphone a week ago I can't help but dispute some of the points Mr. Yee makes in his review. I wish he would have listed what he was using to drive these headphones. Compared to the Turtle Beach and Razer gaming headsets, this is a vastly superior set. Using my Creative L...

Re: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition Video Card Review
How soon do you anticipate a liquid cooled version of this coming out from someone like eVGA or ASUS. I love my ASUS Poseidon GTX 780 and would jump at the chance to replace it with a liquid cooled version of the 1080.

I'd get a PCI PATA controller card before I started looking for motherboards with PATA onboard. It'd be your cheaper option.

Well, how about a GIGABYTE GA-H61M-USB3H then? That's actually cheaper at $50. HTPC Build - Need Input
So I have an i5-2500k and a 120g OCZ Agility SSD laying around and was considering building them into a HTPC/Emulator machine for my home theater. I'm currently using a WDTV Live! and while it works, it's slow, won't scrape my media, and has a hard time playing back my HD content I have ripped on my...

Re: NVIDIA GeForce GeForce GTX 980 Maxwell Video Card Review
Well, now I'm torn. I got Newegg to authorize the RMA but I'm having second thoughts because of the water cooling ability on the Poseidon. I'm wondering how much quieter that'll make things.

That thing would be EXCELLENT for a Fallout themed build. It feels very 40's-50's retro Sci-Fi.

Re: Got hit by lightening. Time to rebuild.
I get what you're saying, but is there really a reason for me to go X99? I will be using this rig 90% of the time for gaming only. I don't need a 6/12 core proc for gaming, the boards are more than twice as expensive, and the max ghz isn't really any faster than a Devils Canyon. Other than DDR4 whic...

Re: ASUS X99-Deluxe LGA2011-v3 Motherboard Review
So now that the Haswell-E is out of the box and the X99 boards are being released do you see a real reason to consider them rather than a Z97 based board from a gaming perspective. Your results with Metro and Hitman seem to echo what I've seen on other sites across the net. Basically the take away I...

The case SEEMS fine but I'm not sure if the USB ports are friend on it or not. They ARE replaceable.
