So how did you guys install them?

I have a M6N as well. I'd mod them and install but there are no files to mod. I guess it checks the system before downloading them.

I doubt your software switch solution would work, simply from the practical point of view for asus. If they did make models with the ctrl and the fn keys swapped, I'm pretty sure they swapped the keys in hardware (as opposed to just swapping the face plates of the keys). Because the BIOS still has t...

I'm getting about the same as you. Maybe 3:30-4:00 on most DC modes. Nothing like advertised, good enough for me, but still.

The fn-key is handled by hcontrol.exe, you could try and crack that and change it to Ctrl :)

Same beefs as me. Battery life and ctrl key placement.

After a month+ of use I still haven't gotten used to the ctrl key.

New site, as well as new version available for Power4 Gear+ Utility.

I won't spam here in the future about new versions, just keep an eye on the site.

Sorry for another update. But I managed bring the executable filesize back down from 120kb down to 84kb -- significant enough to spam the forums once more.

People who are tired of the crappy GUI of the Power4 Gear utility can try my version if it. Nothing changed but the font, the about window (it handled resources poorly) and the icons of course. Also I didn't have any better icons to put in, and this is especially apparent for the High and Super perf...

OK if someone provides me with decent icons I can put them in there.

I'm currently looking for some myself ATM (don't have the skills to make any myself), so any suggestions are welcome.

I might try.

Thanks shades_of_blue. Indeed I noticed today that the Power4Gear utlity is absolutely necessary. Wish somone would rewrite it though and give it a better interface/icons (I'm a neat freak).

Hey ZenOps, which BIOS setting did you have to chnge to force 1.6Ghz? Just today I noticed I was running at 600Mhz, which was causing all my bitching about CS:S and Source ;) Anyway, I had to install the Intel INF from the M6Ne CD (fixed it in System Properties displaying the proper speed, haven't c...
