Blah... looks as thought I may have wasted your time here. I guess the thermal compound takes some time to burn in (as they waited for in that test you linked to). The temperature that I was telling you was my idle temp from when I first put together the computer and I made the mistake of assuming t...

Azncarbos: No I have not overclocked it. I'm generaly afraid of that kind of thing because I am worried about voiding my warrenty and then having it break on me :?. Brajko2: Thanks for the links! Looks like I may be going with the Coollaboratory Liquid Pro, but it says not to use it with aluminum he...

That is great news to hear :). I did start up TES Oblivion to see if the fan would start running and it did not so thats what was worrying me, but I only went into the game for under a minute so when I get home today i'll run it for a bit longer to see if the fan begins to run. Just to avoid having ...

Power supply fan not running
Alrighty well i've been having several problems with my new computer so far :( but this one is the most worrying to me at this point. I thought I had it up and running, but I just recently noticed that my PSU fan is NOT running. The computer powers up just fine and it apparently works as if nothing ...

Try installing the latest bios. The M2N32-sli deluxe has been having trouble with ddr2 800 memory and while you don't quite have that it would probably be a good thing to try doing anyhow. I also had problems with my computer giving a bsod and crashing durring the install, but I ended up fixing it b...

This is before unziping too.... unziped it is 1 mb. I have tried downloading multiple times as well just incase I got a corrupt file or something....

Can't update bios with m2n-sli deluxe motherboar [Resolved]
I am having problems updating my bios in my motherboard. I have downloaded the bios from the asus website (version 603) and I have tried updating them using both the awardBIOS flash utility and the ASUS EZ Flash 2 utility. The ez flash 2 utility gives me an error saying the file size is different th...

Do you think that the DX10 cards will be more expensive than the Radeon X19000 XT? The main reason that i'd want to get a new compy and DX9 vid card now is mainly because my computer right now is 6 years old with a lovely geforce 2 mx 200 card in it and I am really overdue for an upgrade. I guess my...

DX9 cards vs DX10 cards
I am planning on purchasing a radeon x1900 xt video card, but I have been seeing many posts about how people want to wait till a DX10 card comes out before buying theirs. What are the benifits of waiting till a DX10 card comes out as opposed to gettting a DX9 card? I am planning on buying my system ...

:) thankyou for all of your replies and it sounds like I will be getting this compy sometime in the next week or so. As far as the video card goes.... I almost always lean twards' Nvidea myself, but I decided to go and check benchmark tests. I found that the radeon x1900 xt preforms considerably bet...

Looking for confirmation with system guide changes
Hello I was looking at following one of the system guides that is up on the main legit reviews and I am planning on following the high end amd guide. I was going to switch out the nvidia 7800 gtx card with the radeon x1900 xt video card. This being my first home built computer i'm slightly edgy abou...
