Mason, you'll be happy (I think...) to see I've settled on a ASUS P8Z77-V LE, a Sapphire 7970 OC vid card (hey it's only money!) and an i-5 3570K CPU. I'll know in a week or so how it all comes together.

As often as they are cranking these out they need to start a driver of the month club!!

I am STILL amazed I was able to grab that Sapphire Vapor-X. From what I've seen, you have about a 10 minute window to grab any of the 5870 cards that show up on the 'egg! AND before the price increase... I'm usually not quite that lucky.

BTW....It's an awesome card

BTW it's running GREAT. <30C at idle and I haven't seen it more than 52C in games so far.

SOOOOOOOOO much quieter and cooler than my 4870 card.
