thanks capper for ur fast reply.

the Corshair is the 512MB DDR 3200 and the other one is Kingston 512MB 2700 only...so I don't know if it's gonna work??
But..I just run CPU-Z and it says dual memory ...again I'm not sure :(

how to test to see computer is running dual channel memory

Hi guys... I just switched my 2 banks of 512MB of mem ( 1 is Corshair and 1 is Kingston ) into the dual memory sockets. Is there any way that I can check to make sure it's running in dual channel since my 2 pair of memory are not identical ... when I run the BIOS, it says something about dual channe...

thanks capper. My P4C800 BIOS is now updated to 1016 version, I like the way Asus make it very easy to update its BIOS. I did buy the new HSF today, it's a zalman CNPS7000A cooper. I have to say that i"m a little disappointed with it since I expected it to help a lot with the temperature of the...

thanks everyone...especially to capper5016, thanks for spending all the time typing the reply..it was very helpful to me. btw, could you give me a link on intel site that you went to update the chipset driver...I've still unable to update my BIOS yet...cuz I don't know how..and I'm scared to mess up...

overclocking problem with Prescott 2.8E

HI guys.. I'm using the P4 Prescott 2.8 E overclocking to 3.36, and i"m sure it 's possible to overclock more up to 3.6GHZ. Howver, everytime I try to overclock to that limit , the comptuter couldn't start. Does anybody know why? I"m guessing because Im using the stock HSF, so if I'm havin...
