Heres my 3Dmark06 score, some of the polygons in the demo were mad i.e. looked like something seriously wrong? even though my gpu is not overclocked. http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n124/cloakfiend/3d06.jpg a pretty close score to yours Kenc51, yet you seem to be able to play your games with full...

Hi, I did the memory timing thing as well after a bit of research on the web and just entered the 2.5 3 3 6 numbers into the corresponding tras trp and trcd but nothing for the others(trrd, trc, trfc, trwt?), also i just thought i'd note that my machine reset itself whilst initialising the graphics ...

Ok I'm not sure now that there is a reset bios feature, there is a clear cmos thing where i had to move my ati card and pull out the battery and short the contacts by moving a jumper. Bit long!! much rather have a switch or something! any way did that 8 times in a row whilst rearanging ram slots etc...

I think I have already reset the bios, well upgraded it and then downgraded it from dos, because i got some weird things going on in Flatout2 graphically but it remained messed up even after i set the bios back so i just uninstalled it out of stress. I'll reset the bios again and try the two memory ...

Ok, i pulled out the memory and tested each stick in slot B1 as it says so in the mobo handbook, (it says only use that slot if you have one stick?) but i got the same results for both sticks of ram in that one slot, i dont want to mess the mobo or mem up by trying the other slots unless i know its ...

Hmm i was kinda hoping that the results from the BOIS-STD tests were the important ones, and that the BIOS-ALL tests weren't that important! Looks like its gonna be a long day. I did read though through memtests website somwhere that the asus a8n32 sli deluxe throws up errors but I that doesnt make ...

P.S. What is the difference between the Sapphire x1900xt 512MB cheapest version (£220) or the Connect x1900xt 512MB (£370) or as mentioned in other post the HIS x1900xt 512MB apart from the cost as they all appear identical in terms of size, speed and memory? I have the sapphire for obvious reasons ...

Also i noticed that someone said that the shader was messed up in all the catalysts since 6.3, is that correct because in Just Cause when i would swim to the bottom of the sea or look down at my shadow, it would be all jaggedy and messed up looking? i guess thats what they meant. Im gonna try Tomb R...

Cheers for the support! I was thinking over night that it could also be a bios thing on the MOBO, as i checked the web for hours about erratic graphics behaviour on 3d games and there were a couple of points referring to NB and SB, especially when a game runs smooth and then has moments of tiny paus...
