well I think I've figured out the problem now and am not sure how to fix it. Its my monitor I'm about 80% sure. Since when i just turned it off I couldn't get back the signal. Not sure if you tried this but it's worth a shot. I would try making a barts cd with ontrack on it, or if you have barts installed on a separate partition you can run it by navigating to the program files folder and launching the ontrack executable. Once you're in ontrack try doing a raw recovery, ...

Partition Magic also allows you to resize partitions without formatting, works like a charm for me but it's not free. Cute partition Manager i here does a good job and it is free. http://www.cutepm.com/

There is one thing you can do. Put the song file in the start menu-startup folder of her profile. That should play the song in your default media player when she logs in. I to have this problem and have not even tried to find an answer. I have two sata 160gb Maxtors setup with raid 0 on an nvidia controller. I get the errors on both drives.
