Not sure if you tried this but it's worth a shot. I would try making a barts cd with ontrack on it, or if you have barts installed on a separate partition you can run it by navigating to the program files folder and launching the ontrack executable. Once you're in ontrack try doing a raw recovery, ...

You guys might have the ability to be region-free built in already to your DVD Players. Check here: Clicky My Apex has been going strong for around 3 years now. Guess I'm just lucky. I also have a Philips DVP-942(DivX player $40) that would play a peanut butter & jelly sandwich (recently down p...

From my experience, if your going to buy a pc like Dell or HP that have proprietary parts, buy an extended warranty. I learned this lesson the hard way unfortunately. My experience with HP tech support has been good though. Replacement parts came quick!

I think the .net's; asp, vb aregood to learn imo. Lots of jobs around looking for .net programmers. I think another thing that would be great to get into is virtualization. Every book on the campus offered listings on vmware and virtualization that I've read have been pretty good.

I have a dual lcd setup at home and love it. If you were to go with a LCD get a widescreen, they're awesome. However, I personally would go with the video card for right now. Anything to boost performance is priority in my opinion! LCD can come later, they get cheaper and cheaper by the day neways.

If your modem is like mine, you can have the modem take care of the PPPoe authentication for you, use the router in bridged mode and you shouldn't have problems with multiple computers.

I love Newegg, they've always been faster than expected and their customer service is great. I return a cd-burner that went bad after 11 months and they gave me my money back! Same with my Asus motherboard. 1 week before the year end it went bad and they refunded my money!

There is one thing you can do. Put the song file in the start menu-startup folder of her profile. That should play the song in your default media player when she logs in.
