You should check out the selection from your local stores. Sometimes they sell the demo laptops at very good prices, like 400$. i want it for more memory but i guess i should wait anyway because the 2gb memory sticks arent that hot right now and very expensive too.

maybe by the time 2gb memory sticks get better there will be more 64-bit support.

hey guys im looking for a very very low budget laptop. anyone got any ideas? im just gona use this for on the road to mess around when i get bored or whatever so it doesnt need to be anything fancy at all.

thanks guys, damn i really want to run 64 bit but the lack of support is hurting me lol

it seems like i will be going through a huge mission, hmm. i wanted 4gb of ram but it looks like ill stay with 2 until 64 bit gets some damn support =\

ripit4me launches dvdshrink as does anydvd i believe. havnt backedup my dvds in a long time but this program is amazing. newer dvd movies sometimes dont work with it alone (but with anydvd it will) but if you are backing up older ones dvdshrink is amazingly simple and efficient. love it
