I received my new mobo. It's an a7n8x-e deluxe instead of a straight a7n8x deluxe. I'm having problems with it. I hooked everything up and it would power up and get to the bios splash screen and then power off. I tried disconnecting everything except the video card and the floppy and it still does t...

I don't really remember what year it was but I started on a Commadore Vic 20, which was pre 64. Then we did buy a C 64 and I remember programming games for that thing from code listed in magazines. I made a pretty cool football game and an asteroids like game. After the 64 we went to some off brand ...

I tried stepping the fsb all the way down to 190 and it still crashes in game. So from the tests I've done so far, I think I'm going to rma the mobo, since my processor and memory work fine in another exact same a7n8x. I'll let you guys know if that turns out to be the culprit. Thanks for all your h...

Or maybe there is a smaller planet, closer to the size of earth that they will later find to be in between this one that takes 10 days to orbit and the larger one that takes 650 days to orbit. From this article it seems to me that technology is not quite there to find planets close to the size or ea...

Well, I stuck the ddr400 xms memory in my machine and it still crashed. I stuck the processor in a mobo the same as mine, it also contained the same ddr400 xms and it did not crash, ran fine. So the most apparent thing that would be wrong is there is a problem with my mobo? What do you guys think? I...

When I run the processor at 400 and the memory at 333 it still crashes. The only thing that runs stable so far is processor 333 and...

I just want to make sure that you removed the TIM and added some other interface material, you did right? Yes I removed the TIM and added thermal compound to the surface of the core. There is a thin coating of generic thermal compound completely across the surface. I removed the fan and heat sink, ...

Xerxes I didn't see your first question earlier, my mobo is not an -e deluxe, just a deluxe and yes it is a revision 2.0, says it on the mobo. A10 - Ok, then I guess Hmonitor is closer to the real temperature than the bios monitor, even though it uses the same temperature probes? Ok, that's good to ...
