Re: Win7 Updates

I 100% disagree with Bubba on that one....Windows 10 interface SUCKS. I absolutely hate it! It makes everything way too hard or makes you have to search for what you want. :vom: Boot Manager missing... Check your boot order in BIOS and make sure you arent trying to boot from the wrong drive - hey, ...

Re: Win7 Updates

Windows 10 isn't all that bad once you get used to the new routes to various things. As for the Open Shell, I would try life without it first. Right clicking on the start in Win10 gets you to most places. Pin control panel to the start, and what ever else you use on the regular. Done. Yeah I've had...

Re: RTX 2070 VRAM Problem!

Yeah turns out the voltage on my 12v rail was dropping below 11.1v and causing my gpu to fail as it hit 5gb or if my gpu hit more than 70% load. So I removed the cablemod psu extensions and vdroop instantly went up to 11.7v under full gpu load. I contacted scan and they refunded me after providing ...

Classic Shell has been taken over by Open Shell - https://github.com/Open-Shell/Open-Shell-Menu Use that on windows 10 and it will be like you have Windows 7 installed!!! Yes Ive seen that! Definitely caught my interest! I have Win10 on my laptop and its not to bad! I bought a copy of Win10 Pro 2yr...

Re: Looking into new water cooler!

Its been 9 months and the setup is fine! The noise wound up being the rear fan on the radiator! I replaced it with a cheap 120mm fan I had laying around and so far no noises or big issues! My temps are running about 3 to 5C warmer but still in a good range! Yeah yeah, I should've posted this a coup...

Re: Win7 Updates

Try getting these 2 - Check your already installed list in windows update to see if they are already there. If so you can try installing again to make sure there is no error or ignore this as i am running Windows 10 on everything (with classic shell) now. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/44...

I had this idea a while back. My ATT went down and was down for 6 days!( a sure way to make your wife go crazy) Just a little piece of advice! This is if you have a powered/boosted antenna! I have an antenna in the attic connected to 1 TV in my computer/entertainment room. I considered doing what yo...

Re: MicroSD cards for phones

I bought a Sandisk 128GB MicroSDXC UHS-1, it did not immediately show up with a drive letter when I used the adapter to plug in to a Win7 PC. When I did assign it a drive letter, it first wanted to scan all sectors for errors, after that it showed up fine and is listed as exFAT. Do you all use exFA...

Re: Anyone seen anything like this?

Had this happen with both A6 and A10 CPUs, I traced it down to graphics drivers. There would be something that would cause the driver to crash, in the process lock the machine up. Started with slight glitches on one of the two monitors I had, the screen would blip snow for a few seconds, then be fi...
