Re: Looking into new water cooler!

Sooo, Here I am again! Its been a while and the cooler has been doing ok, at least until recently! I noticed a couple times after watching a few videos and general web surfing, my temps were in the 45c to 48c range. Which seemed a bit high to me! Yesterday(wed) I ran a program that uses the CPU at 1...

Good here. Wife is manager of optical at wally world so she still has to work and my step-daughter works at an assisted living place so she does too but none of us got it yet. I don't know anyone around me that has. I have been using my 3d printer to make some ear strain relief pieces for them to h...

Re: Son wants to expand storage on xbone

My personal experience with a Hybrid....
A hybrid will give a good response time but, read and writes are not much better(if at all) than a traditional HDD!
Any drive will work but, SSD will be the best performance across the board!
I built one system with a Hybrid for a friend, will not do it again!

Re: Dead cpu?

So as intel are in the process of refunding me my £409.98, I decided instead of a 9700k I would get 9600k as I only game at 60fps 1440p. Gpu would be a bottleneck long before cpu. I then used the remaining funds to get the below setup. as I was planning on getting a new pump and cpu block at some p...

Re: New Build?

I guess that saves you some cash for now right? Also not a bad little setup even for its age. I even used my 2600k gtx 780 build until I got my 9100f for testing my mobo for that dead cpu. That old system still has some grunt left in her and hopefully so does that 7870k :) Its funny how things work...

Corporations rule the world. Take it or leave it is the new normal :(

You could hire a lawyer and fight it but for a couple hundred bucks, it just isnt worth it.

I would take the money and then look very hard at AMD!
+1 on AMD!
With an ASUS MB!
