8800GTS vs 9600GT, what do you think?
Guys, I have an opportunity to buy an 8800GTS 320MB for $100. Would you do it or would you buy a 9600GT 512 OC'd for $200?

Re: 479-pin vs socket M
So why does the ASUS support site have a BIOS from January of 2008 supporting a new CPU?

Re: 479-pin vs socket M
Thanks for the info.
I'm trying to find out if there are any C2D chips that will work with this mobo.

DRM, Vista, and mp3s
Hi Folks, I just finished installing Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit. I have an uninstalled hard drive with all 60GB of mp3z, movies, videos, pictures, etc. I've been told that if I install that hard drive Vista will DRM all the media and I will not be able to play those mp3z on another computer. Is t...

Hi all,
I just installed DivX and my Aero functionality turned off. Does anyone know why this happened? Anyone have a fix?

I don't know whether to turn this off or leave it on. Why do I need this watchdog? I have enough trouble taking care of my own dog.

can you post the hardware, bios, and settings you use to achieve this overclock? No doubt! I'm still trying to get a bootable Vista 64 overlock above 3.6 on my x6800. any of a dozen memory kits --- Corsair 6400C3, 8888, 9136, 10000, Kingston 9600, 9200, OCZ 9200, 8800 Gold and so on... I can hit 3.73GHz on the QX6700 with stability on both the 680I and the 975X... I can post and get screenshots at 4GHz on the 680I SLI, but it's not stable... From all my personal use of overclocking I get the same results on both boards, but I can get higher without stability on the 680I. can you ...

Bad Axe2 Overclocking is less than
So I own an E6700 with a Bad Axe 2 mobo, and I just built my dad a PC with an E6700 and an EVGA 680i mobo.
My conclusion: The BadAxe2 pales in overclocking comparison to the 680i.
Does anyone disagree with this? If so why?
