Have you tried this test:

1. Take boot SATA from black Intel Sata 0 and plug it into first blue, Marvell SATA connector.

2. Plug your other 2 SATA drives from the promise card into the other blue SATA connectors.

3. Adjust BIOS to put OS drive on Marvell first in list.

Boot.

Since our systems will not boot of the Intel/Black Sata ports (due to an IDE issue posted in another thread), we are using the Marvell ports with no problems. One SATA OS drive plugged into first Marvell Blue port. One SATA data drive plugged into second Marvell Blue port. No special setup required....

Moved SIIG card to other PCI slot. No change.

Removed SIIG card and installed Promise Technology Ultra 133 TX2 card.

Same problem. Hopefully Intel can address this in their next BIOS release.
