Re: GPU3 Open Beta Released!

The bloody thing keeps saying: attempting to get work packet. Anyone have more details on this one, how to enable ATi-cards on GPU3-cores? :snakeman:

Re: Folding on the ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT Presentation Slides

Hello guys,

Interesting footage. Does anybody have a clue whenever we are ready to go Folding on our HD2400/HD2600/HD2900-products? I heard some rumours that soon there will be an update available to support the HD-series. If you have information, please post it :)

Casefan, which one to buy?

Goodmorning guys! :D I am building my own rig and I really adore a good airflow. So I am looking for a couple of nice 120MM casefans. Budget: <€10 per fan. These are the requirements in order of importance: 1) Airflow, the more CFM, the better 8) 2) Price, I am a student so I can't afford much. Bang...

Nice review again, although the Crossfire-fixed-part was a really big surprise for me. Nice to see there is a good solution, although maybe ATi didn't mean to but did it by accident

Usually I DO hate paperwork but this time I LOVE it!

By the way, for phonecalls from abroad (I am from the Netherlands, cheesehead level 7 :) ), who has got to pay for them?

Well guys, this is interesting... What I recommend is a dualcore, but it doesn't matter which one you are going to take. I read a review somewhere today which compared a X2 5200+ with a C2D E6400. Well I can tell you it doesn't matter very much in gaming (C2D is a little tad better), you see the rea...

I wonder if it can deliver the same *** whupping that C2D gives the P4s Nah, that gap is way too large for just a die-shrink. Penryn is the same design as the Core 2 Duos, just shunken down. So very likely unless they greatly increase clockspeeds, then no it won't. ;) Nah too, the move 65-45 is jus...

We want a powerdraw-measurement, I am eager to see how much power the whole system, and the cards will draw.

By the way, overclocking your PS, it IS possible but not recommendable, anyone wants to respond to this? (not that I am going to try :P )

I heard from my birdies here in Holland that that tabel was a fake one, the real lineup will be different.

Sure thing is that nVidia is going to 80nm soon :)

X1950GT / X1950Pro, very good cards for their price and really worth while waiting for the next DX10-generation (games AND hardware :) )

I think you should grab a ATi X1950GT/ X1950Pro, it is powerful enough for the games of today and not so powerhungry as a nVidia 8800. You should make the shift when DX10 is mainstream :)

Duke Nukem FTW! :axe:

Clearly fake, even the Unreal Engine 3 can't make scenes like that. Then they would have brought a larger pic.
