XFX PVT84JUDF3 GeForce 8600GT Video Card @ Newegg.com now for only 89.99 after 20 dollar rebate. A couple of thoses in SLI would be cheap but uber IMHO

Re: 8800M GTX specs leaked
I care... but I don't care enough to shell out 2500+ on a new laptop :) . Any idea what the specs are on the wattage of that thing? I'm running a geforce 6800 go 256 mb and I have to keep my system plugged into the wall most of the time as the battery can't handle full power gaming for too long.. I ...

But how will that effect AMD? or AMD stocks price? If Dhabi pours resources into AMD, perhaps that will give them the props they need to turn the corner on their longterm issues.

Def sounds like a bios / OS device manager issue. Of course if you had a handy alternate system to benchmark the drives on it would illiminate the raid being the issue.

Re: printer issue
I would uninstall the HP driver and start a fresh. As Windows finds items, manually guide them to the drivers (either on the CD or downloaded) specifically for each item and as Dicecca said, ignore all the bloatware that HP puts on there; you don't need it.

Water and paper towels. I think soap just attracts more dust if any residue is left. Canned Air along the edges / hard to reach nooks (with the case door off)

Re: heat suggestions
Since it wouldn't be feasiable to add a window next to your computer, what about a ceiling fan?
I know my Raptor drive gets very hot but I am next to a window on cool days and under a ceiling fan with central air on warm ones and that seems to do the trick.

Have been away and yes indeed I finally recieved a X1650 Pro April 5th. Is this card any thing worth keeping over my 7800OC? And btw, at this point it didnt mean a hill of beans that they delivered, but the fact that they took 5 months to do so is cheezy to be generous. Once again big thank you to A...
