Well first off, Dell is forced to abide by little things that kinda govern the world known as laws. Export compliance is HUGE when it comes to global business. The fact that this guy even got a response is actually kinda surprising to me since im sure whoever purchased the computer agreed to not ta...

"Vista doesn't have hardware sound support? What about musicians?" I should have been more precise, MS dropped DirectSound 3D from DirectX 10. All existing games that use those API's are downgraded and run through the Vista software mixer. They lose all the 3D and EAX effects. I believe C...

I have been very happy with my Samsung 204b 20.1". Purchased over a year ago now and not a single dead pixel or issue.

I'd recommend any Samsung LCD product as they are one of the few that actually manufacture their LCD panels.

The screen looks nice :finga: I would also recommend to test every single piece of hardware. haha yes that pic rocks! I would consider replacing the mobo if possible. Every new piece of hardware you install in that box will continue to last about a week if you don't. Oh and look for blown caps also.

Everything looks good but I would reconsider the video card choice. Possibly wait and leave it till the last purchase. After reading this lastest article on the XFX 8800 GTS XXX there is no reason to purchase any other card at this time. It is now my next upgrade or "dream" if you will ;)

I currently use a Zalman but a friend showed me this AFTER I had installed it. I'm considering it for my next box.

Hello all:

Heard about this forum from The Inquirer post regarding the 8800 GTS XXX. I read the article and have been hooked ever since. I currently am addicted for the second time on UT99. My wife plays the Sims2 and my 4yr old son is a Sonic the Hedgehog fanatic. I am also looking forward to UT3. Lets just h...

I have never had much luck either but after reading this article I think I found a new place to get some great unbias reviews. Oh and I'm not just saying that because I want to win this card. :P Keep up the good work!
