Yep, u'll be able to get a good bargain on DX10 cards if u wait a bit.You can buy an 8600GT easily then whch will be well within ur budget.

7600 GT is a good card(I'm also using two of them) & it can run most games but if u wanna play Oblivion or stuffz like that u'll need a DX10 card for sure.

If ATI wanna give Nvidia a stiff competition, then they will have to price their cards lower than the G80s but I don't think that will happen & when the R600s will be launched ,they will cost a bomb.In the meantime, Nvidia will release their $100 Dx10 cards.But the N guys have to remove the bugs...

You r still using the backdated drivers.Update your driver to the Nvidia 9 series drivers.Also please let us know the SMPS u r using.It too can hold your graphic card back.

I think that there should be difference between the 8800GTS 640 MB and the 8800GTS 320 MB only in the 3Dmarks and maybe in the higher resolution, but people like me (with 17" monitors) don't need the 640MB version. The prize difference counts too :mrgreen: Ya, I agree with u, I do have a 17'' ...

I'll be buying the G80 when they will become cheap & with less bugs.Maybe i'll go with a 8600 Ultra coz that will be a very sweet deal.
