I re-installed Bios 2507 today and am going to accept things the way they are. I have been satisfied with the board since my initial problem was resolved with a memory voltage boost. I was currently thinking of a 2.6 or 2.8 O/C at most. The system is serving its purpose at the the stock 2.4 setting...

Did any of things mentioned in this thread or mine help you out at all? Besides running rmclock (and disabling C1E within it), nothing else...

Appeal to the other BX2 users out there to see if anyone else has any problems. Shouldn't be an issue but check against their rev no's and if hte problem is repli...

NB. Thi...

Welcome to the forums. You'll need to disable Speed Step to keep this from happening. The Core 2 Duo CPU is designed to lower the clock speed and voltage when it's not being used which is why you see it bouncing around so much. Trust me, you won't see a difference in performance with it disabled. T...

Need some help with E6600 showing as 1.6 ghz....
Hello all (my first post here!), here's the issue.... CPU-Z reports my E6600 at 1.6ghz, and the multiplier bounces from 6 to 9 to 6 to 9 to 6...back and forth...back and forth... I have disabled C1E, EICS, and "Watchdog". I am using the lastest bios and tried bios 2333 as well. Both yield ...
