Here is a link to a Coolit Eliminator review. The pics show the new TCM with the capacitor right on the board.

Here is my mod. I'm using the same fan adapter I think Respek posted. It really hasn't made that big of a difference in temp. I'm running an E6600@8x437.5=3.5ghz Idle temps are about 23-30 load during game play is around 35-45 load with Orthos is around 45-55 noise is slightly quieter. First configu...

Received my replacement today. The TMC looks a bit different. It's revision 1.04 and the TEC connection to the TMC now sports a 4-pin connector but only two are being used. I'll try and get a picture up later. I'm still a bit hesitant on installing this thing again.... plus I hate having to pull my ...

I got confirmation email last week from John at Coolit Systems to go ahead and send my cooler back by means of ground delivery service. That only cost about $15 and they received it today according to tracking. No confirmation from them yet though.......

HONkUS are they paying for the shipping back to Canada? I've quoted the RMA instructions I received. They apparently don't like ground shipping but the suggested shipping is $70-$80. Let me know if this is the same. I'd hate to have to wait a month to get a working cooler back. ** Please do not ship...

Could you guys post pics of the Thermal Control Module. I've seen two different modules. One has a capacitor soldered onto D6 of the controller the other one doesn't.

I'm runng a Thermaltake 700watt.
My temps were looking good for a few days too.
E6600 @ 3.5ghz 1.34v idle temps around 25-28 and load 47-52 with orthos.
Then the idle temps were around 38-41 when problems started.

HONkUS check out the positive power lead for the TEC to the TCM. I was checking mine over this morning, the dang thing is very discolored.... chard if you will. Ouch! Like I said in my previous post, I think I'll just cut my loses unless they are willing to cross ship and prepay for shipping. *shrug...

Sorry to see others having issues with the cooler too. I haven't had any issues with the installation hardware but the inconsistent cooling..... I've switched back to my Zalman 9700. I purchased my cooler from CompUSA, when I started having issues I tried different fan configuration. I also thought ...
