Re: Crossfire with 512+256Mb

But the folks from Sapphire told me that the only thing that could happen was the reduction of speed of the memory on the 512Mb they didn't said the the drivers only recognize 256Mb on each board.... Are they just trying to sell one more card?!?!

Crossfire with 512+256Mb

Does a CF config with one board with 512 and another with 256 make any improvement over the tradional 256+256? The techs told me that the 512 board could run a little bit slower... does any one know of a bench with this type of setup? TAL :finga:

Re: New low/mid range ATI Graphics

This is not very easy to define... the range of the cards... some reviewers place the X800 GT in the midrange, as you know this board, if I'm not mistaken had 128 or 256bit bus, so my point is that a possible good move for AMD/ATI is (was) to make some 2600 XT boards with this bus option... for exam...

Re: New low/mid range ATI Graphics

Correct me if I'm wrong... but isn't the 2600XT the top of the range for this series? Being so, where is the 256b-bus?!? If the 2600Pro had a 128bit and the XT a 256bit this would be better, booth for AMD/ATI and Costumers... I believe :finga:

Well for now they are just ground... but I've read that in the near future one of them can be replace with a +12v sensor  ... so one pcie slot 75w+2*pcie connectors 150watts = 225watts thats the TDP ATI claims for this card (with really a very very full load) so putting another +12v line in i...
