hey Mat i'm running xp home, try using bios 2674 try better cooling ! my temps are 44c ish idle 55-58 load at 3.8 what are your temps ? what is your system specs ?have u increased your fsb voltage ?

Hey mat yes i'm sure i'm running 346 x 11 cpu at 1.4 v i'm using a Scythe Infinity 5 Heatpipe CPU Cooler with dual 120 mm fans , ocz reaper pc2 8500 running at 2.32 volts i've had it up to 4.2 !! stable put the the temps were a little high at load , my cpu score in 3d06 is 5575

has any one tried ocz pc2 8500 ( reaper) or any pc2 8500 ! with a d975xbx2 and a qx6700 ?

should i update the chipset drivers on a d975xbx2

im running 2692 bios my rig overclocks way better now ! watchdog is still enabled qx6700 @4.27 so far

i updated from 2509 , huge differance in overclocking for me qx6700 at 4.27 (305 x 14) on air i highly reccomend it ! all games seem to run better also

wich bios (2674) did u use and are u running crossfire

when i enable catalyst a.i i get green articfacts 3d marks work with it enabled but not any games i've tried all drivers ! , no go what is up , i do score 13000 ish in 3d mark 06 so it seems to work fine for benchmarks the rig doesn't crash it just gets green artifacts and the cards are not overcloc...

you need a crossfire addition x1900 or x1950 for crossfire to work

i have a issue when running crossfire with catalyst a.i enabled i get green artifacts in games not 3d mark's , but when i disable it works fine should i install net framework 3.0 ?

hi Apoptosis how did u set up the ccc control panel i like to have all the settings maxed ! (14x aa , 16 x as )or should i let the aplication decide ? and did u trie x1950 crossfire with bf 2142 is there a bios option im missing ? for pci-e ?

yes vstnc is on and yes i use drivercleaner , Apoptosis what bios are u running ?, its strange sometimes it does it right away then sometimes it takes 2-5 minutes

is this newest bios good for xp or just vista ?

does anyone else have artifact problems running crossfire (2 x x1950 xtx) with catalyst a.i enabled , when i disable it its fine ! im running the 2507 bios , ive tried the new catalyst (7.2) and all versions before
