Motherboard problem?

I've had my new computer for nearly a year now and have come across a small glitch it would appear with the system. Every now and then, I will start up and, after taking a good 30 seconds to POST, the computer will have reset back to stock frequencies and the BIOS startup screen will display the fol...

Somethings is buggered up, any ideas?

Recently, I've been having a few problems with selelct games on my computer. The two games I'm having trouble are COD:UO and PSU. For COD, whenever I adjust the sound or video settings and the game has to restart, I get a black screen and, although I can hear my mouse moving over menu things, I can'...

Re: Power Supply at the Bottom? why?

the PSU is placed at the bottom in a separate 'thermal chamber' Actually in the antec 900, the PSU is in the same chamber as the rest of the system. expansion cards, however, can recreate chambers and allow for better cooling. This case has so much exhaust at the back and top that any rising heat f...

Re: Power Supply at the Bottom? why?

my friend said it's cause these cases are S*** Well the antec 900 is probably one of the most highly rated gaming cases available (that I know of, its been a while since I've had to build a high end gaming computer) and that antec is up there with it. As for cases without PSUs are s***...could you ...

Re: DX10 OS??

I suppose I could give it a shot...after SP2 comes out lol

Too bad they just wont make DX10 for XP, but then Bill would lose all that money. Anyway, thanks for the help.

Re: Case cooling help please!

So I've finally got me new cooler (I picked up the Ultra-X) and this thing is a bloody beast. It looks amazing, but it's HUGE. If your considering this, make sure you've got lots of room around the CPU. I have mine set up so that it blows its air all around the northbridge and the assorted heatsinks...

Re: In your opinions...

I am looking more to the EAX then dolby, but still the idea of using my home theater system (good, high quality 5.1 system compared to my 20 dollar 2.1 system) seems nice...mayby in Creative's next card they'll incorporate that technology as well as latest EAX.

Wonder what that would cost :P

I need a couple retailers.

Anybody know of a site that will custom cut fan grills based on the customers design? Also need a site that will create professional logo stickers (could probably make em myself but a pro would be better lol) and if anybody know one, a site that will build customer designed computer cases...without ...

OK guys, what would you rather have in a sound card, Dolby Digital Live or EAX 5.0? The two card I have in mind are the Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-FI Xtreme Gamer 24BIT Sound Card http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=23249 which has EAX 5.0 support but no dolby live or AuzenTech HDA X-PLOSI...

Re: Case cooling help please!

Well that is one advantage to systems like the CoolIt Eliminator, 99 percent of the weight is supported by your case, not your CPU.

Re: Case cooling help please!

One way or another, for 15 bucks you can't get much better lol. The idea of a top down cooler really relies on proper case cooling as well so that your not blowing warm air down onto the heatsink. Anand tech's review seems to have much higher results then any other sites I've read. Most rate it as a...

Re: Case cooling help please!

I'm not so sure that the Ultra 120 Extreme is the best still. Some review site state that the Enzotech is better, some state that it's worse. Either way it is still high on the chart of top coolers and I can get it for 15 bucks...on my budget thats rather good lol
