Yep, killed a couple sets myself running 3.0v on D9GMH(even in -10c ambient!!! ), which seems more responsive than D9GKX when it comes to extreme voltages.
I tihnk it's more the pcb and supporting SMD's that cannot handle the voltage tho, TBH.
AMD an NV have had quad-card systems for shows in the past couple of weeks...or ever since 4x4 NDA lifted...makes me think that I may be right about the differing cards being the problem.
Hoping for a suitable crossfire board for 4x4...mmm4x R600......mmmmmm
I think myself that the kingston modules may go the furthest, given active cooling. watercooling is not gonna make that large of a difference when clocking, merely has an affect on lifetime of the modules in a cramped case. Corsairs 9136 are D9GKX, i think, which may prove to scale over 1400mhz, giv...
Running one cpu instance: XTX 512mb 756/900 5:16/frame(sweetspot on stock volts under water for my card :)) XTX 512mb 648/774 5:46/frame CrossfireXT 512mb 620/720 5:52/frame XTX and Crossfire @ 690/765(craptastic mastercard!!!)running multi-gpu two instances, no cpu instance 5:58/frame AVG(times dif...
Problem apop, is that i'm in canada...remember? lol. I'm losing major FAH points with that rig down and want it back up and active ASAP. Having something delivered from US, going through customs, etc, i would have that rig down for probably the next four weeks... I guess another nvidia rig it...
SO yeah...killed my p5wdh somehow removing vdimm mod. Need a new board...but...680I's are looking real good(got one right here), however XBX2 interests me more(vDIMM heh).
Naw, I've been a MSDN subscriber almost since it started. And i tell ya what...I used to download stuff(is legal here in Canada, to a point), and since I stopped(well over 2 years or so, not even an MP3), I have not had a single issue with viruses or anything like that. LoL. Now that i think about i...
RTM is already out. Look for it. RC2 is ok, but lack of drivers for crossfire has me still on XP, mostly(altohugh now RC2 drivers are up, but i haven't booted ot that drive in a week or so). Audio is much better IMHO, in Vista. I'm actually quite surprised by the number of games that work just fine ...
