So I've played around with this file in the past, and i'm aware of the dangers of modifying this file, but what i'm really curious about is: can i steal this file from my friend's 32-bit Windows Seven and replace it (after backing up, of course) with my dll on 32-bit Windows Vista??? 64 to 32-bit se...

Re: Advice on an Apple Purchase
Laptop + screen seems very, very awkward. The mac mini has always been a bit of an annoyance to me... for whatever reason... i remember some sort of failed "iCube" everytime i see it. So I have to say go for the iMac, all-in-one solutions are always a plus, 27 inches is very doable to me, ...

Sorry for being so slow here D:
but wasn't one of the reasons for not ditching 32-bit on Seven just upgrading? (yeah, they still should have ditched it on vista) but i thought that there were a slew of issues with upgrading from 32-bit vista to 64-bit Seven for those "non-power users".

Digsby Window Flash
I recently got Digsby (multi-protocol IM/Email?Social Network Client). Anyways, I was wondering if there is a way to turn off the flashing of the conversation window when a new IM is received. If not, does Windows have an option for the flashing?
Thanks,
Dan
Thanks,
Dan

Windows Update :-\
So I haven't been to the forums in a while (sorry everyone) but at any rate, I'm looking to reinstall Windows Vista as it's really getting on my nerves, and because I'm on a dial-up connection, and don't want to go through the horrors of downloading every update again, I think I want to back up my u...

Yipee, although this probably won't affect too many games in the near future, but i'm looking forward to win7 anyways, so it's a plus, ugh, love the interface sooo much!

Re: Should We Open A Flame On Forum?
Well, personally, i would like it, as FZ1 said, it is a good place to just say what's on your mind, and argue hopefully without offending anyone, however i also think that things still can't get too out of hand, people have a right to their opinion, but they shouldn't POST anything that is, of cours...

Yeah, and east coast conference/convention/whatever would be nice, is there any actual reason they're typically held in the west?
Definitely looking forward to StarCraft II, hopefully it'll be kind to my 56k connection

Re: Didnt Circuit City go bankrupt yet?
I personally liked the older CC, they had more stuff then, though, where i live they'd get someone to come in with their tuned car and showcase it... they sure were pretty..... But more recently CC has been cutting back, the store looks bland and isn't as full of electronics as the name would suggest.

so, are they saying that Intel's like the rockstar that dies at 27, and AMD is the non-party-goer that lives to be 112?
