So, what's the secret to memory?
When shopping for RAM, what do you need to know to begin? Do you need to have a CPU, GPU and Mobo selected? Say, for the sake of argument, I was looking to run a AMD 6000+ 3.0 w/ an 8800 GTX 768, on an ASUS M2N-E Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 Ultra MCP. What type of memory would I want to look for, o...

Low cost mobo for AMD 6000+ 3.0ghz/8800 GTX
Looking for a low cost, but efficient, mobo to work with the CPU and GPU in the subject line. I will not be using SLI, so I have counted that out. Is there any problem with the ASUS M2N-E Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 Ultra MCP being used as the mobo? At this time, I am trying to get an idea for what...

OC equivalent for AMD 6000+ 3.0
If I was looking to OC a CPU to 3.0ghz+, to compete with an AMD 6000+, which would be the best cost efficient option, and what additional items would I want/need (upgraded heatsink, fan?)
Thanks!
Thanks!

To be honest, I do not plan on running SLI anytime soon. I realize that it seems to be industry standard for an SLI mobo, but I don't see myself using that option for quite some time. Let's say I go with the AMD 6000+ CPU witha GeForce 8800 GTS 320mb card and don't plan on overclocking anything, wha...

I will take a look at those options, thanks for the help. Do all mobos now come with sufficient sound so a seperate card does not have to be purchased? Let's say I want to spend no more than $100 bucks on a mobo that is going to be able to give me SLI, work well with a 3gig CPU and provide quality s...

The secret to Mobo's?
After deciding on an AMD 6000+ 3.0 CPU, I am now looking for a mobo to handle it. I am having tough a time time finding what makes one mobo seperate itself from another. I realize that I need to make sure that the mobo works with the CPU, so I need an AM2 mobo, and it sounds like having one with SLI...

Question on CPU's
I am beginning to put the first pieces of a gaming system together. At this time, I am trying to spend no more than $1500 on all hardware. I have decided to start with the CPU as my first selection, but I am nowhere near educated enough to understand the important numbers. From what I have read here...
