Wheres a high end cooler reviews comparing a Vapochill Micro
With all the build up for the Vapochill Micro over summer, now that the thing is finally out, where are the quality comparison reviews on it. All Ive found are marketing reviews and what is on their web site. Anyone know anything other than rumor or what some guy said?

Agreed on the internal appearance. A pimped case makes for great photos but personally that ain't my main concern. Besides I can always disable the blinken lights if they keep me up at night. I do have RAM sinks, what comes from Corsair with the sticks. Possibly part of the heat problem I have is b/...

thanks apop. I was hoping it was available seperately, Ill ring 'em up. But it looks like it might only cover 4 sticks. My board has 6. I also found this thermaltake unit: http://www.thermaltake.com/coolers/memory/a1165.htm It looks kinda cheesy compared to the ramflo unit. I wouldnt be spending the...

RAM cooling. anyone heard of these guys, very slick
I ran across this photo while I was checking out Cebit. Both links (Id post the photo inself but ...) show a RAM cooling fan that looks really nice. Ever heard of this company OTES? I cant find anything on them. http://www.hardwareluxx.de/story.php?id=2213[/u In this photo below look for the airflow...

Make it Silent
5 BUCKS! That is a super deal for a fan controller, But I would really like something to automatically control fan temp based on temprature (read more quiet). Tom's did a review on fan controllers over a year ago and only two they reviewed would fit my criteria, most of the 15 they reviewed were una...

It never fails, If you make enough noise to inconvience a stone wall vendor, they come around and work with you. It happens to me time and time again, from the monthly bills to hardware and software vendors. This thread is proof of it. Now if I could just get off the high blood pressure medication.....

Dynamic temprature controlling
Has anyone had any experience with dynamic fan controllers? I would like to setup my system with some kind of a fan control/temp monitor but don't want to monkey around constantly continually watching LED's and turning nobs. Ok, so shoot me for being lazy, I have enough on my mind already :supz: I'm...

Re: HDD cooling
You actually mean "inversely proportional" here... (sorry, couldn't help myself ;)) I generally don't bother with HDD cooling, I've seen plenty of hard drives die, but haven't really seen any benefits to cooling them specifically.
I stand corrected :axe: Still, having a pair of toa...

Re: HDD cooling
Hey guys what's up? I have been checking into some cooling solutions for my total system instead of focusing all my attention on the CPU temp. The info I have thus far points to the HDD being the most temp sensitive part in the system. Hey Merlin, How did your HDD temp test...

I am also a victim of Ultra marketing.

Nathan, since you are looking for entry level reviewers I thought I should reply. Having enough practical hardware and software experience to be dangerous (very dangerous) you would have a editorial perspective that most other review sites don't have. KISS (keep it simple stupid). Well actually I ca...

changing of the guard from Northwood to 6xx?
I just read the LEGIT article on the new 6xx series chips. An excellent, well thought out article that was quite useful. However there are some of us enthusiasts out here who, while impressed, still believe in the venerable (albiet mainstream) P4c Northwoods. It would be interesting to compare the o...

Corsair memory shootout???
Would anyone care to share their experience using some Corsair sticks? In your opinion would there be any advantage for me to upgrade from the 2 512 cmx 3200xl I am currently running? Ive heard great things about the 3500c2 bh5's low latency and chips. the 4000 & 4400 as well but didn't know how...
