HOW MUCH IS GAS WHERE YOU ARE AND WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT IT?

I loved the post in the other forum about gas prices that explained how they stammered when they spoke about their $11 B profits this first quarter. My husband feels those shareholders and owners in the oil business know we are in the dawn of change for fuel economy and they are "grabbing all t...

How do you plan to cope with rising gas prices?

I read a headline on the internet a while back that states gas prices are projected to reach $5 (that's five dollars!) a gallon by Labor Day. Other than the standard, "given" responses, I wondered if anyone would like to share any unusual ideas. I am a woman who is probably too old to oper...

No, I'm not a spammer (trust me, I hate those) or an employee of Brainbench. I just happen to be a member and wanted to share the info. 8)

Re: Running car with hydrogen using WATER

Well, this has all been quite enlightening and definitely makes for a good discussion. And yes that was an issue about the power it would take so separate the hydrogen from the water. What kind of batteries would that take and how many would we be replacing. I do know my initial reaction to this ad ...

Re: Rant about Windows Vista

Yes AR 8.1.2 does seem to be working just fine with my Vista as well. However, it is only been the last couple of revisions that are running more smoothly with Vista. (was just using AR as an example...not looking for competition) It's like duplo83 says, it IS amazing how most programs have (OR HAD)...

Skip the Community College and Save Ga$

Many people do not realize that Microsoft offers virtual learning through their official website. For a minimal cost (I chose office products and paid about $20 for two courses) you can learn at home, in your own time and have up to 3 years to complete. Hey, then you can get Microsoft's certificatio...

Running car with hydrogen using WATER

Ok, so the concept of the fueling off hydrogen through the use of water intrigues me. I don't pretend to be knowledgeable in the field of science, however, like the rest of you, we all know that we cannot deal with these rising gas prices. Evidentially, we can transform our cars to run on water, alo...

Rant about Windows Vista

I wanted to start a whole new post about Windows Vista to encourage more of you out there who I am sure has had some stressful experiences with the bugs that Vista still possesses despite the updates. I have Premium myself and receive all the automatic updates and while things are much better, whene...

Re: ECS GeForce 8800 GT Video Card Review - N8800GT-256MX

Have always relied on Tiger Direct. Then two times in a row they sent me the wrong parts, even though I told them exactly what parts and what PC's (including model #'s) for. So I am leary of them. Though I agree their prices are difficult to beat. Just make sure you get the right item cause returnin...
