On the PCI-E frequency, someone told me to keep it low so that is why I did it. Is it not necessary?

You guys hit what I needed! I would have never known how to turn off the watchdog without your help. The documentation that comes with the board never mentioned it. I am really having a hard time getting past FSB=270. I have set the PCI-E refq to the lowest setting (~101). I have tried FSB=280, RF=333, MF=667, and FSB=280, RF=266, MF=533. All I get are POST errors.

D975XBX2 Overclocking - rookie getting started - needs help
I am a rookie at overclocking and am having some trouble making it work. The BIOS manual from Intel on this board doesn't appear to match the BIOS I have, so is of little help. Does someone have any suggestions for a beginner like me?
