Re: Which mouse?

I just bought my first "Gaming mouse" a month ago, its an mx518 and is absolutely wonderful. it runs up to 1800dpi now because they upgraded the sensor too, and the polling rate is finally adjustable on it, which never worked before with older 518's i hear. I set mine to 500hz @ 1800 dpi,...

Re: *sigh* iphone

Might want to keep an eye on that new gadget http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,529 ... test=faces That was an isolated incident, there are no mass reports of them overheating. I would be careful though, Apple isn't renowned for good cooling solutions. btw, folks it is summer. Don't keep your phon...

Re: Does anyone have Soundwise or Cresyn Earphones?

I have the Shure SE110s and couldn't really ask for more from them. I've heard that the 310s are incredible; with their price point now, they are quite a good buy. Also, at least personally, I'd stick with brand name on anything sound related, (headphones, speakers, etc.) because most of the time of...

Memory Mixing

I have a amd m2n-e sli with 2 x 1GB of Crucial PC2-6400 timings are 4-4-4-12. I found another 2 x 1GB OCZ timings 4-4-4-15. will it work? because it is only $33 and 4 gigs would be amazing.

Re: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ - Your thoughts

The 6400+ is in reality not a whole lot better then the flop of a processor the 6000+ it is rated at the power usage, and is 200mhz faster. I still think that the 5600+ is a better deal, also the 6400+ comes without a heatsink/fan. Now seeing how I haven't seen a review of it I don't know how overcl...

I can understand your reasoning top, if you are gaming at high-res you will get an added boast. but I game at 1250x1024 and the added frames are purely frivolous.

Athlon 64 X2 5600+ Overclocking

Has anybody had experience with overclocking this processor? I just bought it and it will ship Monday or Tuesday. All the info for the computer build is in my tag.

Re: 3.0ghz Phenom and triple crossfire spotted over at Hard[OCP]

it seems that games and hardware aren't advancing at the same rate. Crysis is coming out and they claim it can be run on a 2 year old machine... game makers are making games that dont require a $5000 rig, but hardware makers are pushing out rigs that will cost more than that, and it makes us think ...

I tried to go to 650MHZ but it wouldn't POST so i guess 600MHz is as far as it will go. do you guys know anything that might help. this is a old motherboard jumper settings for Bus and Multiplier. Here is the CPU-Z link: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=227531

Celeron 533 oc'ed to 600 with a little modding

i have an old Celeron 533MHz socket 378 and wished i could overclock it a little. so i had a new heatsink fan from a celeron 2.0 GHz i took the old fan of the heatsink and stuck the new on by squeezing the new heatsink frame and there it was now it runs at 600Mhz no problem!

Re: Put a 120mm fan in 5.25 bays

do you have to connect it to anything (besides power), or will it just sit in the bays. Or will a couple of zipties do the job?
