Yeah I've tried flashing back and for between the 1008 official BIOS and the 1009.001 beta BIOS. With the official one I can't adjust the vcore setting and it still defaults to ~1.56V. Have you tried disabling VPU recover? I heard that sometimes it would be the cause of crashing. Couldn't hurt to try.
