Ok i just upgrade my intel CPU 2.8E to 3.4GHz extreme edition and it did recognize in BIOS.But i don't see any improvement. im Running with 2 sticks 512mb ram and 2 sticks of 256mb DDR ram total 1.5GB OF RAM.do i need more memory?any suggestion

Im upgrading CPUs from an intel 2.8E to 3.4 extreme edition CPU.but am i suppose to update my BIOS again after i install the new CPU.will my D865PERL motherboard recognize the CPU. Also what do you folks think of this upgrade in CPU. Good idea bad idea? Thanks, Shirke
