Overheating problem
I have a D975XBX2 board wit a Quad processor. My zone temperatures are fine (around 33C). At idle speed, the Processor Thermal Margin is around 42C, which is fine. Low stress apps work just fine and the temperature doesn't change much. I installed and ran MS Flight Simulator and the system shut down...

My board has 2 sets of 4 SATA connectors. I switched my 4 drives to the other set of connectors and everything works fine. Thanks again!

I build a new computer based on an Intel 6600 quad. When I startup with a Vista Install CD, I get the following error messages: PXE-E61: Media Test Failure...check cable PXE-M0R: Exiting Intel Boot Agent Then, Windows starts.....it asks which language I want......Then I hit the INSTALL WINDOWS radio...

No.....with the 2X4 power plugged in, I only get the power led light on and a light on the board......no fans, no video, no bios, nada. The other fans start for a split second and then stop

I built a new computer with a D975XBX2 board. When I powered up, all of the LEDS and fans worked but the system didn't boot. I get "no signal" on the monitor. I have an Intel Express Installer Driver CD that says "install this CD first". I startup with it in the DVD Drive. The fans and LEDs come on and the indicator light on the DVD comes on for for a few seconds. Nothing happens with the monitor....it...

I have a video card and a monitor connected to it. When I power up, all of the leds and fans go on, but nothing on the monitor.

I just built a desktop computer with the Intel D975XBX2 motherboard. Where do I connect a monitor so I can set the BIOS? It doesn't recognize my video card, so I can't see anything!!!!
