the fx-8150 running stock 3.6 only gets 13.588 ppd running a 6900 overclocked to 4.9 which isnt going to be stable unless you have a custom water cooling sytem should be around 25,000 to 26,000 ppd. which is slower than a i7-920@4.0 and uses 50 more watts to do soo give or take. while a i7-2600k wil...

i7-3820 is extreamly faster. as is the i7-980,i7-2600 in that order.

Why would you use all that old hardware in foldng system as it uses more electric than its worth. A 2500k would match it for points and use much less power. 2600k would double it. or a single gtx560 ti to replace those 2 cards

Great review for the most part! Comparing with a i5-661 horrible! only thing that i see that might need to be mentioned is bandwidth compared to a p55 with a i7 and 200 baseclock. Soo out of the box it might be better than a stock p55 setup but thats all you get.
