Re: Any Truth To This...GTX 480 Delayed To April 12th?
I am also unaware of any delay as mentioned and am also in the dark for the most part, but I'd be curious that if the April 12th date has any association with Fermi, that perhaps it is an availability date? It would make more sense to make the cards for sale on a Monday than a Friday night when no o...

Re: Post Your HTPC
Thanks! I should add that I have an LG Blu-Ray drive installed for watching movies (typically via the latest version of PowerDVD) LG GGC-H20L? Wouldn't surprise me as that is/was a popular model! A friend of mine just sold his for $115 with his used HD-DVDs on ebay! So they still have most of their...

14" ASUS UL80Vt - $786
15" ASUS UL50Vt - $795
Both offer 12-ish hour battery life at near idle.
Otherwise, you can get a netbook with a 12 hour near idle battery life for under $400 like the ASUS 1005PE at around $360

Ya, also tell us what you plan to do with it. If you want the long battery life with a slightly more powerful CPU, check out the ASUS UL series.

Re: ASUS G73Jh DX11 Gaming Notebook Review
The 8GB of RAM was running at 1333MHz. The reference to 667MHz is 1333/2 and is really referring to the same thing just depending on how the system reports the speed by taking into account the dual data rate (DDR) or not. Sorry for the confusion.

$141,000 Tesla Roadster Review at Wired
The folks over at Wired were fortunate enough to review the highly versatile and revolutionary Tesla Roadster. Weighing in at $141K, the Wired drivers were able to get as much as 236 miles on a single charge or stomp it from 0 to 60 mph in a screaming 3.7 seconds! The Wired guys loved it and rated i...

SpeedTest during NCAA March Madness
So last night I was in class and the internet was damn slow. We figured it was the dorm students using all the bandwidth by streaming the NCAA March Madness basketball games... We ran speed test for fun and sure enough, we had dialup speed download. What we didn't expect was the upload to be as high...

Re: Location-based Social Networking: Foursquare Ground-rules
Hehe... I thought I'd give it a try. The Foursquare concept seems to be the next level of social networking that could rival facebook... although this blog indicates Facebook has plans to add a location-based aspect as well. I think they will pretty much have to. It is probably a matter of time befo...

Location-based Social Networking: Foursquare Ground-rules
Foursquare is really starting to make the headlines when it comes to location-based social networking. Foursquare users can 'check-in' virtually when they physically step into a public location in order to let others (their friends) know they are there. While Foursquare is obviously not for those wh...

Re: Thermaltake SpinQ VT CPU Cooler Review
Actually no, different motherboards, even different bios versions, can use different calculations to come up with the internal CPU temperature reading. Just having the same CPU does not result in comparable temp data. And the ambient room temp has a big role on how much heat the heatsink can transfe...

Re: Disk image mounting in Windows 7
Sounds like Daemon Tools should... I know Virtual Clone Drive will. Both would still require blu-ray playback software like Power DVD or Total Media Theater as this software will just mount the blu-ray ISO so it looks like you have a blu-ray rom.smack323 wrote:So would this play Blu-ray if i had blu-ray ISO?
