You shouldn't have to install the RAID drivers at all if you are only using 1 HDD. Sounds like Windows is already at least partially installed on that drive. Or if you don't upgrade, you can always overclock the CPU and RAM to try and reduce the bottleneck. I myself game at 1152X864 and 1280X1024, and I think this CPU is great. It can handle my everyday tasks pretty well. Until I try and get a bigger monitor, I see no point in upgrading my X2. What type...
