I think the 9800GTX will outperform the ATI X2 since the X2 had only a few % better results compared to the Ultra benchmarks.
But then again the X2 is cheaper so I guess you get what you pay for anyway.

I was wondering if the new X2 card will be considered as crossfireX or just crossfire if you put 2 of them on one board.
I read that the X2 is seen as one card by the system.

I was thinking, yes it happens sometimes and it hurts ;-) , It must be possible:
Or else you would need crosfire to run even a single card with 2 gpu's on any MB and I don't think ATI would limits sales due to this.

Any news on this yet? says in the review that these dont need the 4-pci slots as they are obviously dual gpu cards but does that mean two of them can run on a crossfire X38 board with 2x PCI-E 2.0 16x/16x in crossfire?
