Yeah...I know this thread is old, but did you guys ever run into any type of video corruption on this board? This thread on the EVGA forum has blown up, and there are folks chiming in from all manufacturers with the same problem. 780i, 750i, even the 790i boards... http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.asp?...

(2) 8800GT in SLI or one 8800GTS (G92)?

I've now been waiting for over 2 months on Dell to ship my 8800GT's and it's given me too much time to think about this crap. I was settled on running the 8800GT's on a 790i board using a Q9450 processor (going on the early reports they would both be available in Jan). Now the 8800GT's I ordered see...

They just delayed my order again... Pushed it from today all the way out to 2/18/08. Time to start looking elsewhere, I've reached my limit with them.

Re: 3870 X2 Vs 8800 GTS G92 SLI

It's just a simple manner of $$/performance an 8800gts alone is ~350 bucks not as good as the 3870 alone which is ~450 bucks which isn't nearly as good as 2 8800gts which is ~700 bucks I typically stick with one videocard setups but I gotta admit that the 8800gt in SLI config is a really good price...
