Vista is perfectly fine. My RAM is dual channel. 2 1GB sticks and 2 512MB sticks. I also have the 8.1 drivers.

I've had success both using a pencil eraser to gently massage the pixel and running that java applet to flash the colors. Just note that anything other than the java applet may cause permanent (and worse!) damage to your screen.

My favorite burner is the LG GGC-H20L. It's plays both Blu-Ray and HDDVD disc AND burns DVDs and CDs. Who could ask for more?
